About Watt & Whisk

Watt (power, electricity) meets Whisk (cooking, craft) — a warm, spec-literate guide to the appliances on your counter.

Watt & Whiskexists because buying a countertop appliance is weirdly hard. The big review sites bury the two numbers that actually decide whether you'll be happy — how much counter it eats and what it costs to run — under a wall of "we tested 40 units." We do the opposite: we lead with the specs, compute the running cost, and tell you plainly what we did and didn't do to pick.

What we do

We publish ranked buying guides and honest explainers for air fryers, blenders, stand mixers, sous vide machines, and food processors. Every pick is compared on capacity, wattage, real footprint, and materials, with a live Amazon price attached. Our full method is on how we review.

Who writes this

Watt & Whisk is written by Stephen V., a long-time countertop-cooking enthusiast who reads the manuals, compiles the specs, and does the electricity math. That's the whole claim, and it's true — no lab coat, no invented credentials, no "expert panel."

How we're funded

We're reader-supported through the Amazon Associates program: when you buy through our links we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes a ranking. See our affiliate disclosure and editorial policy, or get in touch.

Watt & Whiskis published by Type 5 Marketing LLC. We're a national online publisher — there is no storefront to visit, just the guides.
